August is packed with exciting series, both new and returning. One of Netflix's biggest hits, Wednesday, is back for its second season. Over on HBO Max, Peacemaker returns for another round, bringing back familiar faces seen in Superman. Jason Momoa stars in Chief of War, a brand-new series debuting on Apple TV+. The Alien franchise expands with a new series from visionary creator Noah Hawley, titled Alien: Earth. Meanwhile, Prime Video introduces a prequel to The Terminal List, called The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.

Chief of War, Season 1 - APPLE TV+

Wednesday, Season 2 Part 1 - NETFLIX

Unpublished details are unearthed with the FBI and experts connected to the case. Memories previously stifled by trauma come to light.
